Remember life before makeup? We had no clue we could look any different.
Somewhere along the line (middle school for me,) we found mascara and cover up, and suddenly felt a whole lot less beautiful. We needed makeup to look like the idealized look of ourselves. And natural beauty was no longer "good enough."
Pre-makeup, we completely accepted ourselves, raw face and all. And there's a freedom that comes from embracing our natural beauty. Because we are beautiful, just the way we are, because what makes us unique makes us beautiful.
I designed this necklace as a reminder to embrace your natural beauty. Like a wildflower, uncultivated and organic, when you wear this necklace, you're showing your natural beauty is more than enough - it's what makes you as unique as a wildflower.
