Inspiration
Every spring, I would meander into the field during recess to hunt for four-leaf clover. As soon as the bell rang, I raced, excited to stumble upon some luck (aka Austin would realize he loved me back, and I would finally get an American Girl doll.)
Austin never realized he loved me, and I had to wait a few years to get my first American Girl doll. But looking back, I didn't really care about the "luck" - it was the excitement. The air of adventure, the thrill of seeking, and the filling feeling of something to look forward to.
Too often as adults we focus on the outcome, not the journey. The promotion, not enjoying the work. Getting married, not learning about ourselves through dating. I designed this bracelet as a reminder to find excitement in the journey. Because how lucky we will be to have been present for a beautiful life.
